Dextrocardia....................(Most Common mistake)

In this blog I would like to tell you the most important mistake we do with regards to X-rays and sometimes we may find it silly...................

I would like to tell you a scenario where it would be apt for such a situation...

Practical Examination...............

Examiner gave you a X-ray and tells me to find out the findings....

Thinking of the student:
How beautiful is the X-ray? ( If you are more of a excited person like me you may jump in your brains that I got to diagnose a easy one)

Answer from the Student:
Normally by looking at it we generally say it as
Normal X - ray with slight Cardiomegaly

Examiner:
Are you sure? ( If a good one)
Are you blind? (If a moody guy)

In our brain:
Everything I said is right but still what is wrong and looks at the X- ray again but still could not find anything ( As we still don't see it), Sometimes we may think that examiner has gone mad or what..........

Answer:
Dextrocardia (Congenital right sided heart)

Reason:
Knowing the examiner tests us whether we know how to see the X-ray or not.
Sometimes it may not be diagnosis they are looking it may be the way we are looking at it.

Correct way to see the X-ray:

See we should see the right side and then handle the X-rays. (which have been marked in yellow)

Disclaimer: I am saying that everyone will do the same mistake but sometimes and some students like me we can do it
