A 33 Year old F came to hospitalwith the chief complaints of
Fever, Breathlessness and pain over the left sternoclavicular joint for 4 days
She had a trauma on
left side of the chest 4 days ago
Past History:
In 2005 she had high grade fever, After 15 days of onset
went to hospital she was given medications still fever was present but SPUTUM
TEST IS NEGATIVE and body weight is decreasing.
After 4 months, fever still not subsided, New symptom has
been developed which is pain at the left back side, SPUTUM TEST IS POSITIVE. Started her on ATT.
During the last week of course she started developing MILD
HAEMOPTYSIS, again the SPUTUM TEST IS POSITIVE. So ATT extended for 6 months
still there is new symptom which has aggravated i.e. MASSIVE HAEMOPTYSIS.
Transferred to a higher hospital where CECT Scan was done
and told that PNEUMONECTOMY should be done and eventually surgery has been done
with a slight delay due to her loss of weight condition.
After surgery she had cough and left back pain
After 1 year of operation she again fell and developed
wheeze and cough and left back pain has been increased.
Following investigations, The doctors suggested to undergo
another surgery where they want to fill the whole bronchiole with gum
